Hi! I’m a an Assistant Professor in the Department of Marine, Earth, and Atmospheric Sciences at North Carolina State University. I use observations and models to better understand climate variability and extremes across a range of time and spatial scales.

El Niño Updates! Throughout the evolution of the ongoing Super El Niño, I will post updated observations and predictions of Coastal Trapped Waves (CTWs) as they propagate up the coastlines of South America, Central America, Mexico, and the United States.
